For five years, I was privileged to teach young minds as a public high school science teacher in Tennessee. These were some of the absolute best (and challenging) years of my life. In 2015, I left the classroom to pursue my PhD at Auburn University. I am, and will forever be, grateful to my former colleagues and students during my time as a school teacher. I learned more about science, education, professionalism, and life in general during these years than during any other period of my life. I have left this website on the world wide web, unchanged, because many teachers (most I've never met) have told me they find it to be a helpful resource for their classroom. Anyone who comes to this site should feel free to use it however they see fit, so long as their goal is the same as mine was in creating it: to leave the world a little bit better than they found it by providing quality public education to our children.
